FSK president believes Kazakhstan will show good play in qualifiers[09:59]
14/09/2004, Kazakhstan Today Rakhat Aliyev, president of the Football Union of Kazakhstan (FSK), believes that our team will play dignity in the World Cup-2006 qualifiers, KZ-today correspondent reports. "A draw 1:1 in the game against Ukraine in Almaty would be a more just result. Unfortunately, our team lacked a little luck, maybe, experience. We let in the second goal during the last few minutes and we lost - 1:2. At the same time this game has made me sure as a tiffoso and a head of the Football Union that our team can show worthy play in the current world cup qualifiers," - R. Aliyev believes. In his view, the team leaders show high class play already now. "Remember at least the goal that we have scored. Murat Tleshev passed the ball to Ruslan Baltiyev, who threw it down by his head, and Andrei Karpovich scored a beautiful goal at one stroke. This combination would be worthy of any game. Our players obtain certainty and experience," - R. Aliyev says. Kazakhstan will play its next world cup-2006 qualifier on 9 October in Turkey. |
