PetroKazakhstan quarterly dividend payment set for 1 November

Board of directors of "PetroKazakhstan Inc." approved quarterly dividend payment totaling 0.15 canadian dollars per one share. The company tols KZ-today correspondent.

The date of registration is 15 October, 2004, the date of payment is 1 November, 2004. The shareholders (U.S. residents) will receive dividends in American dollars equivalent to dividends value.

"PetroKazakhstan Inc." is international energy corporation, which has been operating in Kazakhstan for seven years. The company is engaged in the exploration, development, production, acquisition, refining, and marketing of oil and refined products in Kazakhstan.

PetroKazakhstan shares trade in the United States on the New York Stock Exchange, in Canada on the Toronto Stock Exchange, in the United Kingdom on the London Stock Exchange and in Germany on the Frankfurt exchange under the symbol PKZ.
