New chairman of constitutional council of RK appointed

By order of Nursultan Nazarbayev, president of Kazakhstan, Igor Rogov has been assigned new chairman of the constitutional council of RK, KZ-today has been advised by the presidential administration press service.
I. Rogov was born in 1950. He graduated from the Kazakh State University, PhD in juridical sciences, professor. He worked as a senior advisor, consultant, seciton head in the presidential apparatus and cabinet. In different years he was assigned deputy chairman of the constitutional council of RK, assistant, advisor to the head of state, chairman of the Supreme Court council, minister of justice. Lately he was deputy head of presidential administration - head of state legal department.
Yuri Khitrin has been relieved from the duties of chairman of the Supreme Court council in relation with his transfer to another job.
