N. Nazarbayev stated that the Kazakhstani parliament was going to promote exchanges with the NPC to contribute to the long-term development of the Sino-Kazakh relationship.

Wu Bangguo believes that the parliaments of the two countries should enhance exchanges in the economic legislative field. "We attach importance to the relationship with Kazakhstan," - he said adding that the PRC "will steadily push forward Sino-Kazakh relations in a healthy and stable way."
