Duty-free import of consumer goods decreased by half in Uzbekistan[17:31]

Kazakhstan Today - The law came into force according to which duty-free import of consumer goods on the territory of the country by physical entities for private use has been reduced by half in Uzbekistan on July 21, 2008, the agency reports referring to CA-News agency.
By joint decree the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of External Economic Relations, Investments and Commerce, the State Customs Committee have introduced amendments to the decree on acceptance of the limit of duty-free import of consumer goods on the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan by physical persons for private use from the territory of the neighboring states of December 18, 2002.
Now total sum of the goods imported by physical entities from the neighboring countries not subject to taxation makes not $50, but $25.
