07/11/2007, Kazakhstan Today
According to the press service, on November 4, 2007 Yermek Abdykalykov, ex-owner of this land visited the Krishna farm during Sunday service and said since the regional court satisfied his claim, he gives the society one week to vacate the farm.
As it was informed earlier, the supervising instance of Almaty regional court on October 23 made a decision to satisfy Y. Abdykalykov's claim and to return him the land, which once was sold to Krishna believers. As a result, the contract of sale and purchase of 1999 was nullified and 47 hectares of land have been transferred to its former owner.
Earlier, the same court made a decision to transfer this land to the state land reserve. Now the court accepted Y. Abdykalykov's claim, which term of submission expired 22 months ago, the press service informed.
"The satisfaction of Abdykalykov's claim became one more proof that the judicial system in the country can be manipulated, if it is required to take away land," the members of the religious society consider.
"The officials of Kazakhstan more than once declared world community that Krishna land had been donated to children's home. E. Idrisov, Kazakhstan Ambassador to USA, informed about it in Washington during hearings in the congress of the USA in October, 2007," the press service informs.
