Industry Ministry, ExxonMobil signed transparency agreements

Astana. October 18. Kazakhstan Today - The Ministry of Industry and Commerce and ExxonMobil Company signed the agreements on transparency of purchases and development of service sector of goods and services in Kazakhstan, the agency reports.
V. Shkolnik emphasized that signing of the documents is "the second stage of realization of Kazakhstan joining the Initiative of transparency of the enterprises of extracting sector."
According to the Minister, its department in March, 2006 proposed to make transparent not only incomes of the enterprises of extracting branch, but also the process of purchasing of goods by them, works and services so that our manufacturers could participate in these tenders, aspiring to keep to all the international standards." "And today we signed the first documents with the largest world company," he said.
On October 20 in Almaty signing similar documents between the Industry Ministry and association Kazakhstan Petroleum that includes 49 associate members is supposed to be signed.
