It reads, "Net profit of Sibneft company amounted at USD 613 million for the first half of 2001. Sibneft expects significant increase of its profits at the end of the year. The expected net profit will amount at USD 1.1 billion (USD 675 million in 2000). The income growth is forced by high rates of oil extraction and successfully implemented program for company consolidation. |
