Georgian Presdient's Spokesman refuted information on Georgia's secession from CIS

Kakha Imnadze, the Spokesman of the Georgian President, refuted information of the Russian mass media saying that the President Shewardnadze allegedly said about beginning of procedure of Georgia's secession of CIS. "This issue is not on the agenda of the day, however, the society is actively discussing it," Imnadze said. At his October 10 meeting with the leaders of parliamentary factions the President Shewardnadze discussed prospects of further stationing of the Russian peace-makers in the zone of Abkhaz conflict, and in this light the issue on Georgia's further staying within CIS.
