FRENCH BANK PRESENTED PROGRAM OF UZBEK OIL BRANCH PRIVATIZATION

BNP Pariba French investment bank presented a program of privatization of Uzbekneftegas (Uzbekoilgas) National holding company.

Press service of Uzbek State Property Committee informed CNA that this program would follow three stages. On the first stage, most important, French bank experts and its partners - Chandborn and Park, Arthur Andersen and other consulting companies, will study investment potential of Uzbekneftegas and elaborate schemes of their restructuring and privatization. The second stage is market estimate and preparing the company for selling. On the third stage search for strategic investor and selling 49% shares will take place. BNP Pariba French bank, winner of tender proclaimed by Uzbek government, became financial consultant on the project of Uzbekneftegas National holding company privatization.
