A sentence to 20 members of underground extremist organization was passed on the court sitting in the regional center of Khoresm region of Uzbekistan. A CNA correspondent reports that the leader of the organization Akhmed Tumanov is sentenced to death and his accomplices - to 3-20 year imprisonment. The underground religious-extremist organization committed several robberies, planned to hijack a plane to Afghanistan in order to join soldiers of Islamic movement of Uzbekistan. Akhmed Tumanov and Makhmud Khojamuradov, leaders of the organization, took military and religious training courses on the territory of Tajikistan; one of the most active members - Dilshod Yangibayev - was trained in military camps in Chechnya.
