"We are having negotiations on the forms of interaction regarding this issue and hope that in the future 15-20 years Armenia will have enough electric power and will not suffer from deficit," Rizhkov said. He also informed that the commission discussed issues on gas supply to Armenia and price policy. He said that these issues will be continued in Moscow, where the regular session of the commission will be held in January 2002. Iran-Armenia gas pipeline construction was touched upon during the Yerevan session. According to Rizhkov, before making the final decision the sides are to define whose gas it would be and how much it would cost. |
