Comparing with the same period of last year this index increased by 18%, the Kazakh Agency for statistics informed. According to the agency the export made USD 5195.7 million and increased for 4%, import (with calculation of expenses for transportation and insurance) reached USD 5195.7 million, increasing for 44%. The trade balance for January-July of 2001 is positive - USD 1453.8 million (in 2000 this showing was fixed at USD 2394.5 million). The share of CIS in the total volume of export reached 31% (in January-July of 2000 - 28%), import - 55%. |
