MEETING OF GUUAM MEMBER-STATES TO TAKE PLACE IN BAKU

Regular session of national coordinators of GUUAM member-states (Georgia, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan and Moldova) will take place in Baku on September 5-6.

The Ukrainian Ambassador in Azerbaijan Boris Aleksenko informed journalists on Thursday that the questions of further steering up GUUAM activity, especially the course of preparing the agreement On Free Trade Zone within the frames of the organization, are put on the agenda of the meeting. The Ukrainian Ambassador, touching upon the problem of GUUAM expansion, mentioned that membership of Uzbekistan to this organization turned" the status of the bloc into international. The Azeri Deputy of Foreign Minister Araz Azimov fulfils the duties of the National Coordinator of Azerbaijan in GUUAM.
