WB TO ALLOCATE A USD 5 MILLION CREDIT TO AZERI HEALTH MINISTRY

The Health ministry of Azerbaijan Ali Insanov informed CNА that more than 250 private clinics are opened in the state, and the cost of services is still too high. The Minister also said that the activity of ten state clinics is resumed in Azerbaijan and that the Central Clinical Hospital (CCH) is one of well-equipped and with the best staff. Insanov also informed that the CCH was constructed by AHSEL Turkish company for USD 29.5 million. 50 specialists of the Hospital attended special courses in Turkey. The Azeri Minister reminded that an agreement on cooperation between the Health Ministry of Azerbaijan and Russia was signed at the recent session of CIS health ministries held in Baku. According to this document most of the Azeri doctors can raise the level of their professional skills in the medical centers of the Russian cities. |
