Iran, Armenia and Greece underlined the need to continue cooperation and implement agreements in the areas of transportation and telecommunications, IRNA reports. The three countries made the agreement during the 4th session of a trilateral meeting on bilateral cooperation.

A memorandum of understanding on expansion of trilateral cooperation particularly in the area of carrying out joint projects is to be inked by the three sides on the last day of the meeting on Monday.

Stressing on the importance of expansion of post and telecommunication cooperation, the three countries underlined the need to exchange information and experiences among themselves. The three countries expressed their interest to establish joint telecommunication companies.

During the meeting it was also decided that an expert meeting to be held to review the proposed plans and issues related to the field in the near future.

Meanwhile, Iran and Armenia welcomed a proposal made by Greece to organize training seminars in the area of civil aviation.

Stressing on the importance of trilateral cooperation in the field of air transportation, the three countries called for removal of the existing obstacles in the way of educational and technical cooperation in the area of civil aviation and air navigation. Welcoming print of joint stamps between the three countries, Iran, Armenia and Greece called for supporting each other's stands at international bodies.
