Shopping Festival kicks off in mid September in Almaty

The event is organized by the Kazakh discount service Chocolife.me with the support of the municipal administration.
The budget of the festival that will bring together 300 brands, 50 restaurants, 15 hotels, 14 shopping centers and a zoo, amounts to more than USD 207 000.
This is the first time Almaty will host such a festival. Residents and guests of Almaty city will get a unique opportunity to enjoy shopping and discounts at the shopping malls, restaurants and cafes, hotels and other places.
"Festival will boost Almaty's popularity. Hopefully, it will attract tourists. For instance, Dubai Shopping Festival showed a whooping 57% sales growth," says Kairat Kulbayev, Head of Almaty Cultural Department. |
