Kazakh President thanked athletes for good results at London Olympics

Celebratory ceremony of honoring the winners of the Olympic team of Kazakhstan with the participation of President Nursultan Nazarbayev is taking place at the Palace of Independence in Astana.

"I thank all of our athletes for good results at the XXX Olympic Games in London," the President said in his speech at the event.

"I want to thank all athletes and coaches, all who fought hard for Olympic triumph, I thank the organizers - our Olympic Committee. I have invited to this celebration today, parents of our Olympians. I want to thank you individually for giving Kazakhstan such heroes who brought the Olympic victory," the President emphasized.

"Sport is one of the priorities in the strategy of the state. The country's healthy life style led to breakthrough in the field of physical culture and sports," the President concluded.
