Kazakhstan's wrestler Danyal Gajiyev wins bronze at Olympics

At first, Danyal Gajiyev triumphed over World Champion Alim Selimau from Belarus in Repechage Round 2 beating him 3-1. Then, Kazakh wrestler faced Vladimer Gegeshidze from Georgia in a fight for bronze medal. Danyal Gajiyev repeated his success and won 3-1 in a tough match.
Danyal brought Kazakhstan its first bronze medal at this Olympics in London. As was reported earlier, Kazakhstan already has six gold medals. This is the first bronze trophy for our country. |
