In Men's Canoe Single (C1) 1000m Semifinals Alexandr Dyadchuk from Kazakhstan was the last to hit the finish with 4:56.724 result.

However, Kazakh athlete qualified for final that is set to be held on August 8.

More good news came from the Eton Dorney Rowing Center. Alexandr's teammates Yevgeniy Alexeyev and Alexey Dergunov performing in Men's Kayak Double (K2) 1000 m Semifinals ousted their rivals from Canada and finished fourth with 3:17.788. That means we will see the duo in the final on August 8 as well.
