Kazpost opened 587 new brokerage accounts under People's IPO Program

Kazpost JSC has opened 587 new brokerage accounts for receiving applications to buy the shares within the People's IPO Program since this March 1, the company's press service informs.

"As of July 1, Kazpost JSC opened 2941 brokerage accounts including 587 new accounts opened since March 1, 2012," the statement reads.

Besides, it was noted that the accounts were opened ahead of schedule to avoid a rush of investors during the period of reception of applications for buying the shares within the People's IPO Program.

Besides, in order to create comfortable conditions for rendering services to investors, new software for making business processes automated is developed as well as for providing transfer and brokerage services. It is planned that after the tests this software will be installed in all the offices of Kazpost JSC on July 31.

It should be noted that applications from the investors will be received in all the offices of the company in rural areas and then transferred to regional departments for their further synchronization with the database which makes them all available online in the central office of the company in Almaty.
