Construction of Tobol - Kokshetau - Astana gas pipeline starts in Q1 2013

The beginning of construction of Tobol - Kokshetau - Astana mine gasline which is aimed at provision of central Kazakhstan, Astana with gas supplies is scheduled for the end of the first quarter of 2013, the press service of the Ministry informs.
Presently, preparatory and organizational activities are conducted. Besides, the construction of gas-distributing plants for Astana and Kokshetau are planned to be built as well.
The design capacity of the main gas pipeline makes 6 billion cubic meters per year and takes into account all categories of consumers located along the main gasline.
As earlier reported, in his Address to the Nation the President gave instructions to start construction of a gas pipeline system ensuring gasification of the central regions of the country, including Astana. |
