URGENT: Ammunition, religious literature found in exploded house in Almaty rgn

The Prosecutor's General Office confirmed the discovery of ammunition in the house, which exploded in Almaty region on July 11.

"During the inspection of the scene, which started yesterday and continued today in the garage of the house were found guns, ammunition, police uniforms and religious literature," according to the press statement of the Prosecutor's General Office released on Thursday, July 12.

The prosecutor of Almaty region initiated criminal proceedings under Part 1 of Art. 24 - 233 part 3, paragraph "b" (preparation for terrorism) of the Criminal Code.

As reported earlier, the explosion occurred in Tau Samaly village of Karasai district of Almaty region. Charred bodies of eight people, including four children, were found at the scene.
