"20 years ago, on June 4, 1994 I signed the Decree on the State Flag of Kazakhstan. Since that time our flag has become the most important attribute of our independence. And today, by tradition of the last years, on the eve of the most significant and beautiful holidays - the Day of Capital, we fly the national flag and grant shoulder straps to the best graduates of the country's military educational institutions," the Head of State said.
President Nursultan Nazarbayev congratulated those gathered at the Atameken ethno-memorial complex on the Day of the Capital.
For the first time parents of the military were invited to the ceremony. |
