A 62-year-old driver of an Audi-80 drove into oncoming traffic and collided with a police car with two policemen inside. Staff sergeant S. Dumchebayev, born in 1980, died at the scene. Junior sergeant G. Sulaimanov, born in 1985, and an Audi-80 passenger were taken to hospital.
As it turned out during the preliminary investigation, the driver of the Audi-80 was in a state of intoxication. The criminal case was initiated. The suspect was taken to temporary detention facility of Ili district police department. |
