S Kazakhstan border post officer attacked by unknown, bystander killed

The attackers drove up to the officer, attacked him and started beating, threatening with a pistol, tried to pull him into the car.
In order to stop attacks and save his life and health the officer used weapon: he fired warning shots up and at the wheels of the car. The attackers left the car and escaped. A sawed-off shotgun was found inside the car.
As a result of the use of weapons an innocent bystander received a gunshot wound, from which later died in hospital.
The officer got various injuries.
Currently, law enforcement agencies began investigation and are taking steps to establish the identity of the attackers and arrest them. |
