Kazakh senators promote 'Green Bridge' initiative at Rio+20

Nazarbayev to present Astana Green Bridge Initiative at World Summit on Sustainable Development Kazakh senators Anatoly Bashmakov and Khusain Valiyev are taking part in Rio+20, United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
The participants are working together to develop the concept that would reduce poverty, facilitate social justice and ensure necessary measures to protect environment.
Within the framework of the summit Kazakhstan has suggested two initiatives: global energy and ecological strategy and 'Green Bridge' interregional partnership program.
If the strategy and 'Green Bridge' partnership program are included into Rio+20 final documents, they are likely to be financed by the global financial institute and international business.
