Integration processes have positive impact on culture development

International forum "Eurasian Culture in the New World" has started its work in Astana. Its main purpose is to strengthen cultural and humanitarian cooperation between the CIS member countries.

Opening the forum Kazakh Secretary of State Mukhtar Kul-Mukhammed noted that today we are witnessing the major international integration projects, such as the Eurasian Economic Community, Customs Union, Single Economic Space. "The integration processes have a positive impact on the development of not only our economies but also culture and art and spirituality in general," he said.

The forum is attended by the CIS ministers of culture, representatives of creative and humanitarian community of the CIS countries, leaders of the CIS Interstate Humanitarian Cooperation Fund, heads and representatives of international organizations, members of Parliament, heads of diplomatic missions of the Commonwealth, state agencies, heads of cultural institutions, prominent figures of culture and arts of Kazakhstan.

The event was organized by the Ministry of Culture and Information of Kazakhstan and the CIS Interstate Humanitarian Cooperation Fund.
