King of Spain wants to visit Kazakhstan

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bakhyt Dyussenbayev presented credentials to King Juan Carlos I of Spain on Wednesday (June 13) in Madrid.

According to press service of the Kazakh MFA, after the ceremony the Kazakh envoy had a talk with the King of Spain and Foreign Affairs Minister of the country José Manuel García-Margallo. King Juan Carlos I of Spain welcomed the Kazakhstani diplomat and congratulated him on the appointment, wished him success in promoting the strategic partnership between Spain and Kazakhstan.

The sides discussed the prospects of all-round development of Kazakh-Spanish relations. The Kazakh ambassador informed of the work done to deepen cooperation in various spheres between the countries.

Juan Carlos I of Spain conveyed the best wishes to President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev and confirmed his wish to pay a visit to Kazakhstan again.

The sides also noted the high potential and prospects of further development of the Kazakh-Spanish cooperation.

This year Kazakhstan and Spain celebrate 20 years since they have established the diplomatic ties.
