Czech Republic to welcome investors from Kazakhstan, M. Govorka

Vice Minister of Industry and New Technologies Bakytzhan Dzhakssaliyev together with akim (head) of the region Berdybek Saparbayev invited the Czech businessmen to survey what the region had to offer in terms of business opportunities. New investors would be a great plus for East Kazakhstan rich in natural, water and forest resources.
The head of the region offered the Czech business circles to familiarize with the industrial zone in the eastern part of the country. In addition, he stressed that 60 per cent of water resources of Kazakhstan were concentrated in the region and their potential was huge.
Bakytzhan Dzhakssaliyev, in his turn, also paid attention of the Czech side to the sector of high technologies and opportunities for cooperation with the nuclear technologies park in the region.
Vice Minister of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic Milan Govorka noted that East Kazakhstan's potential was enormous, especially in terms of human resources.
He underlined that Kazakhstan was one of 12 countries cooperation with which the Czech Republic saw as a priority.
"We are interested not only in metallurgy, engineering or energy. We would like to establish cooperation between the technical parks and technical universities of the Czech Republic and the Republic of Kazakhstan and cooperate in the field of science, innovations and trade. Perhaps, it is a good idea to set up an agency that will expand our cooperation," Milan Govorka said.
"The Czech Republic is keen to collaborate with the specific regions of Kazakhstan," he added. "Our country will also welcome investors from Kazakhstan."
