Husband sets ex-wife on fire in Astana

According to the police, the woman was divorced and lived separate from her husband with their daughter. Her 26-year-old former husband often dropped by to see the girl.
On one of those visits he unexpectedly pulled out a canister with petrol, poured it over his ex-wife and set her on fire. The woman's relative tried to help her but in vain. The woman was immediately hospitalized from the spot and later passed away. |
