Kazakhstan signed military coop agreements with Armenia, Italy

Minister of Defence of Kazakhstan Adilbek Dzhaksybekov paid official visits to Armenia and Italy on the invitation of the defence ministries of the two countries. Agreements on military and technical cooperation were signed during the visits.

As the press service of the Defense Ministry of Kazakhstan reports, the Kazakh Minister met with Defence Minister of Armenia Colonel General Seyran Ohanyan and Security Council Secretary Arthur Baghdasaryan during his visit to Armenia.

The Agreement on military-technical cooperation between the Government of Kazakhstan and the Government of Armenia was signed during the visit. The sides agreed to develop bilateral relations in the military education, training of military-technical personnel and other areas during the visit.

In Rome, A.Dzhaksybekov met with Minister of Defense of Italy Giampaolo di Paola. The Agreement on military-technical cooperation between the Government of Kazakhstan and the Government of Italy was signed upon the results of the meeting.

Giampaolo di Paola said his country is interested in the development of military and military-technical cooperation with Kazakhstan and gives it special significance. Proof of this is the decision of the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Italy to open a defense attache office in Kazakhstan.

The Kazakh delegation also visited a number of Italian companies producing modern armament and equipment, familiarized with the activities of the Italian school of carabinieri officers - the leading school in Europe.
