31 industrial innovative projects totaling KZT 614 bln carried out in Mangystau region

31 projects totaling KZT 614 billion are implemented in Mangystau region within the State Program of Forced Industrial-Innovative Development for 2010-2014. About 30 thousand new jobs will be created, according to pm.kz.

23 projects worth 113 billion tenge are included into the regional Industrialization Map. They provide for creation of over 7.5 thousand new jobs. Eight projects worth 501 billion tenge are included into the national Industrialization Map. 22 thousand new jobs will be created after their implementation, the regional department of entrepreneurship and industry reports.

18 investment projects totaling 121 billion tenge were already implemented in Mangystau region in 2010-2011. 3912 new jobs were created.

As the entrepreneurship department informs, implementation of 8 projects worth 54 billion tenge is planned to be completed in 2012.

The goal of the Forced Industrialization Program for 2010-2014 is to ensure diversification and increase of competitiveness of the economy of Kazakhstan in a long-term period with strengthening of its social effectiveness. As a result of implementation of the Forced Industrial-Innovative Development State Program, Kazakhstan is planned to achieve the following results by 2014: the GDP growth by 50% of 2008 level, increase of labor productivity by 50% in processing sector and by 100% in several sectors of the economy, reaching 40% of the share of non-oil and gas export, reduction of the energy intensity of the GDP by 10% of 2008 level and increase of the number of innovative enterprises by 10% of the number of currently existing ones.
