IV Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions opens in Astana

87 delegations from 40 countries will attend the event. The main theme of the meeting is "Peace and harmony as the choice of mankind."
The program of the Congress will include two panel sessions on May 30:"The role of religious leaders in achieving sustainable growth," "Religion and multiculturalism" and two panel sessions on May 31: Religion and woman: spiritual values and contemporary challenges," "Religion and the youth".
A concert will be held then to celebrate the closing ceremony of the IV Congress.
The program also includes a visit to the museum and memorial complex "ALZHIR" and collective prayer service to commemorate the victims of the political repressions in Kazakhstan. |
