"People's IPO" Program - important task for development of Kazakhstan economy - PwC

Implementation of "People's IPO" Program in Kazakhstan is an important and timely initiative, Vice Chairman for Clients and Markets of Donald Almeida "PricewaterhouseCoopers" told in his exclusive interview for Pm.kz site.

"The PwC is not just developing and growing in Kazakhstan, it also contributes to the economy of Kazakhstan. We would like to continue to help the Government and the President of this country implement key strategies and render our possible assistance to "Samruk-Kazyna" in achieving its goals and remain reliable business partner," D. Almeida said.

He also noted the importance and good timing in implementing the initiative of "People's IPO" Program. This Program provides for an opportunity for the people of the country to buy stock of shares of the national companies.

"People's IPO is one of the best and strategic initiatives of Kazakhstan and we actively participate in it. We are aware of the significance of this program and we exert all our efforts to make this campaign successful," D. Almeida emphasized.

According to him, the first results of placing the shares on the market will be an increase of the economy because of the scale of the prices for the shares. It will have an impact on the economy which is a strategic step in development of Kazakhstan.

Besides, D. Almieda told about development of personnel potential in the PwC in his interview. "We have trained about 1000 specialists from Kazakhstan over the last five years. Besides, we held the trainings in the PwC all over the world which gave them a great international experience," he concluded.
