Kazakhstan, Poland to host business forum in Almaty

The delegation of the Łódź Voivodeship headed by Marshal Witold Stępień came to Almaty yesterday to participate in the forum. The delegation includes representatives of local administration, the Łódź Agency for Regional Development, heads and leading experts of Polish firms interested in establishing direct contacts with entrepreneurs from Kazakhstan.
Businessmen from Kazakhstan and Poland are to have bilateral meetings after the forum.
Kazakhstan and Poland established diplomatic ties on April 6, 1992. The commodity turnover between the countries amounted to USD 1.8 billion in 2011. The countries are proud to have dynamically developing and mutually profitable relations in the field of culture, science and higher education. 500 students, including Bolashak Scholarship holders, from Kazakhstan study at HEIs of Poland. |
