Kazakhstan has a reliable friend on Customs Union's western border: A. Lukashenko

At the final press conference after the top-level negotiations in Minsk President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko noted harmony of interests and friendship between people of Kazakhstan and Belarus.

"Kazakhstanis should know, keep in mind and realize that here on the western border of the Customs Union, future Eurasian Economic Union, they have reliable friends and brothers who are ready to promote their interests. We effectively cooperate within the Single Economic Space. We share objectives. We have agreed to meet at the highest level in future to monitor the implementation of our instructions," President Lukashenko stressed.

In addition, the sides focused on the implementation of the Road Map for development of commercial and economic cooperation for 2012-2013. "President Nazarbayev has already mentioned this document includes more than 60 joint ventures and projects almost in all spheres of our interaction. Implementation of this document gives tangible results," Alexander Lukashenko said. "We would like to have a platform on the territory of Kazakhstan through which we could work with Central Asia and China. And we would gladly promote Kazakhstan's interests in Europe".
