Astana to host V Islamic Conference of Environment Ministers

It will bring together about 200 people from 57 Islamic countries and 25 international organizations.
Those attending will discuss pressing issues concerning environmental protection of Islamic countries, the initiative of Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev on Global Energy and Ecology Strategy and Green Bridge Partnership Programme.
The conference will bridge Islamic countries and contribute to settlement of global ecological problems. It will also strengthen the country's standing and advance its image in the Islamic world. |
