Necessary to decrease East Kazakhstan region's dependence on republican budget - N. Nazarbayev

B. Saparabayev reported on results of social economic development of the region for 2011 and the first quarter of 2012. Head of State noted the high economic development growth indexes and paid attention to the number of problems.
"The region is subsidized. About 74% of the budget is transfers from the national budget. It is necessary to reduce this dependence. On the whole, industrial production is growing, the region is developing. Now it is important to pay attention to the development of social sphere," - Kazakh President said.
Following the meeting, Nursultan Nazarbayev, has set before Akim a number of tasks and gave specific instructions.
