Kazakh President suggested to apply most severe measures against the country which use nuclear weapons

"World needs to agreed on applying the most severe international measures until the isolation and boycott of the first country which use nuclear weapon," said Kazakh President Nursultan

Nazarbayev at he first plenary session of Nuclear Summit in Seul.

According to Kazakh President, uncontrolled expansion of nuclear countries' number is the most serious threat of the 21st age. Some countries see possession of nuclear weapon as security factor. But taking into account experience of Kazakhstan I believe sustainable economic and social development provides real security guarantee," Nursultan Nazarbayev said.

In this connection, N. Nazarbayev suggested to apply most severe measures against the country which use nuclear weapons. "I suppose that adoption of the Universal Declaration of nuclear-free world would be an important step towards a Nuclear Weapons Convention," Kazakh President added.
