"Work with IAEA on deployment of an international low-enriched uranium bank in Kazakhstan has embarked on the practical stage," President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev told the first plenary session of the Nuclear Security Summit in Seoul.

"70 years ago the first nuclear reactor was assembled at the Chicago University. The history of nuclear atomic power plants numbers 60 various accidents. The last one occurred at the Fukushima nuclear power plant showed that nuclear power industry should develop under absolute guarantees of security and on the basis of three fundamental principles such as universality, transparency and efficiency, equality and trust," the Head of State said.
