Kazakhstan is an example for many countries in the field of nuclear disarmament

Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev met with IAEA Director General Yukiya Amano on the sidelines of the Nuclear Security Summit in Seoul, the Presidential press service says.

"Last year you paid an official visit to Kazakhstan. Prior to that, at the Summit in Washington, you made a video message. During these two years Kazakhstan has done a lot in the field of nuclear safety. Kazakhstan is actively developing cooperation with the IAEA. Tomorrow, in a speech at the Summit, I will tell about the achievements of Kazakhstan in this area," Nursultan Nazarbayev said.

"It is an honor to meet you here in Seoul. Last year, during my visit to Kazakhstan, I became convinced of the great success of Kazakhstan in the field of nuclear non-proliferation and security. Kazakhstan is a leader and example for many countries in the field of nuclear disarmament. I congratulate your country on great achievements in these areas," Yukiya Amano noted.
