Koksarai reservoir helps avoid floods in South Kazakhstan region

According to him, currently Koksarai holds 2.2 billion cubic meters of water. "This water could have flowed down the ice surface and lead to very serious consequences," Bozhko said.
Heavy inflow of water, one thousand cubic meters per second, is also seen in Shardara reservoir, nearly 800-900 cubic meters. |
