Labor Minister announced forecast on Kazakhstanis' working capacity for next 20 years

Kazakh Minister of Labor and Social Protection Gulshara Abdykalikova has announced the forecast on working capacity of the Kazakhstani people for the next 20 years. She has said it at the today's board meeting of the Ministry.

According to her, the state program of forced industrial innovative development which is under implementations nowadays will demand annual introduction of 200-300 thousand workers to the labor market.

"We can withstand such pace of demand, at best, till 2020s. The generation born in the transition period will the working age in subsequent years, when the birth rate has sharply fallen in Kazakhstan," G.Abkykalikova noted.

According to her, in connection with the ageing of the population, the proportion of the persons who attained pension age will increase. If in 2000-2005 their number was within 40-50 thousand people, in the last two years, it reached 90-95 thousand people, i.e. increased twofold.

"In this connection stimulation of rise in births and support of families with children is of particular importance," the Minister resumed.
