Ak Zhol Party issued statement on preliminary results of early elections to Majilis and maslikhats

Ak Zhol Democratic Party of Kazakhstan has issued a statement on preliminary results of the early elections to the Majilis and maslikhats.

"Kazakhstani people made their choice on January 15, 2012. According to preliminary data, three parties won in the elections, Ak Zhol Party as well. We express our gratitude to all, who supported our country.

We think that it is necessary to note that all political parties, which participated in the election campaign, had equal opportunities to bring their election platform and the views to the electorate by media.

The election campaign was a step forward democratization of the political process.

We note with satisfaction this progress.

We congratulate leader of Nur Otan people's Democratic Party Nursultan Nazarbayev and all members of the Party on a victory.

We also congratulate heads and followers of all other parties, which participated in the elections, on the campaign completion and creation of the multiparty Parliament.

Ak Zhol Party expresses gratitude and respect to all political parties for their principles and clear civil position, manifested in the electoral struggle.

We are confident that the multiparty Parliament will promote the real development of the country, strengthening public concord and increase in welfare of all citizens."
