The Minister took part in the 2011 Black Sea Energy and Economic Forum. He addressed some plenary sessions devoted to the prospects and plans of Kazakhstan on further development of economic and energy cooperation in the region.
K.Kelimbetov gave a lecture on achievements of Kazakhstan's economy and expansion of bilateral cooperation between the fraternal countries to students of Aidyn University.
Within the framework of the visit Kelimbetov met with Turkish Deputy Prime Minister responsible for the Economy Ali Babacan, Minister of Finance Mehmet Şimşek and had a breakfast with Chairman of Çalık Holding Mr. Ahmet Çalık.
A wide range of issues of bilateral and multilateral cooperation of Kazakhstan and Turkey in the sphere of energy and economic development was discussed at the meetings. |
