As earlier reported, members of the group killed two policemen on this November 8 and planned a new violent campaign in Almaty. On December 3 as a result of special investigation activities the leader and some members of the group were found in Boraldai village. The militants refused to give up and offered an active armed resistance. In the course of apprehending five members of the terrorist group, including their leader were killed.
No victims and injured among the civilians were reported. |
