Kazakhstan recognizes South Sudan - Foreign Ministry

Formation of a new nation is a glorious achievement resulting from a long and arduous process of negotiation.
Kazakhstan joins the international community's appreciation of the referendum and the corresponding stages of nation-building that have been conducted in a spirit of peace and mutual respect. Kazakhstan also hopes that all unsolved issues will be addressed and resolved amicably by all parties involved and in full compliance with the UN Security Council's resolutions.
Kazakhstan wishes to the new Republic of South Sudan a successful path to a peaceful and prosperous future. |
