Kazakhstan intends to set up JV with world's mining & metallurgy leaders

"Kazakhstan intends to set up a number of joint ventures with the world leaders in mining and metallurgical industry," deputy CEO, Samruk Kazyna Fund Aidan Karibzhanov, said at the II mining and metallurgical congress in Astana.

"We would like to create transparent and clear rules to develop our resource base. To that end we founded a special explorer to promote development of the country's geology and geological exploration at large."
