Days of Kazakhstan Culture to be held in Paris

Kazakh masters of arts will perform at the Paris concert hall Salle Gaveau. They are People's Artist of Kazakhstan and the Soviet Union Alibek Dnishev, Chamber Orchestra of the Baisseitova National Opera and Ballet Theater, conductor Aidar Abzhanov, honored worker of culture Talgat Musabayev, Kazakh State Kurmangazy Orchestra of Folk Instruments and others.
The history of cooperation between Kazakhstan and France starts on 7 January 1992. That day France recognized the sovereignty of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Two weeks later, the states established diplomatic relations.
Kazakh-French cooperation in culture, education and science has been developed in accordance with the intergovernmental agreement in the field of culture and art as of 1993, agreement between the National Academy of Sciences of Kazakhstan and the National Center for Scientific Research of France as of 1994, as well as through interaction between the twin cities of Almaty and Rennes (since 1991). |
